THE PRE-FRAMED STEEL DOOR
Built as a system.
Cobra’s steel doors come pre-hung in their frame, with the seals, sill and hinges in place. Select a part to see what it does.
Sill. Thermally broken, self-draining aluminum sill in clear or black anodized; with the bottom sweep it stops dust and water seepage.
All slabs are pre-finished factory white. Optional: custom painting, custom stain, composite frame, custom sizing.

GLASS OPTIONS
Raise & lower blinds: Blinds sealed between the glass: no dusting, no exposed cords, one control to raise, lower and tilt. Door lites 2236, 2248, 2264; sidelites 836, 848, 764. Low-E or clear.
Elevation venting unit: A mechanically assisted vent: a weight-balancing system means a light upward push opens it, with two grips and a central lockset. 2236, 2248 and 2264.
Q470 venting unit: 22″ × 36″ venting unit with clear glass, in white (Q470 Black & White also listed).
MULTI-POINT LOCK
Locked at three points.
- 3-point, one-piece locking system for 6′8″ and 8′ doors
- Top and bottom automatic latchbolts throw 20 mm as the door is pulled shut
- Turning the key or thumb-turn locks the deadbolt and both latchbolts: three deadbolts
- 1″ (25 mm) throw on the deadbolt
- No lifting of the handle to engage the locking points
- Extension with an extra lock point for doors taller than 8′
For double doors, the inactive door takes an astragal mortise lock: non-handed and made for doors up to 11′ high.

Can I add sidelites or a transom?
Yes. Cobra doors are available as single or double doors with sidelites, a transom, or both, in 16 configurations.
How many colours are available?
Cobra steel doors come in 23 named colours plus factory white, with custom paint available. The inside and outside can be different.
How long does a door installation take?
It depends on the configuration and any changes to the opening. We confirm the schedule with your quotation.
